When you run across an appropriate place to mention Brothers
Bentley - such as music forums like those on craigslist.org, slash dot
discussions that are about music or radio, web sites for artists that
are played on internet radio, or other appropriate locations - don't
be shy about letting people know about the band. Be sure to include
our web address in your post. (http://www.brothersbentley.com)
Important: it isn't an accident that we used the word
"appropriate" twice in the preceding paragraph. It's important
not to spam forums, post on non-music-related sites or site areas, or
otherwise annoy people in Brothers Bentley’s name. That'll only
reflect poorly on us.
Post or pass out flyers & cards (designs coming soon)
We can't afford to mail out copies of flyers and promo cards, but we'd
be happy to provide the artwork for you to print your own. We have artwork
for 8.5" x 11" flyers and 3.5" x 2" cards (standard
business card size). You can print out a few flyers to stick up at your
local indie music store or coffee house, or you can have Kinko’s
print you up a couple of thousand and hit the cars in the parking lot
at a U2 concert.
We do request that you always ask permission before posting
flyers anywhere. We don't want you to get into trouble (or get us into
trouble...).

Put a Brothers Bentley plug in your email signature.
Almost every email program lets you add a "signature" to the
bottom of all of your outgoing emails. Many Brothers flyers add a brief
mention of Brothers Bentley along with our web address to their signature.
Something like "…check out my favorite new band Brothers
Bentley www.brothersbentley.com”
In outlook express, you can do this by clicking "options"
and then the "signatures" tab. If you need help, you can email
us.
Put a Brothers Bentley banner on your web site or blog
All you need to do is choose which size banner you'd like, copy the
html code, and paste it onto your site. We’d appreciate any
support that you can give us...
